The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the combatants confronted each other to promote next month's boxing match.
Former two-time unified boxing king Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather criticized former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the novice remains one of boxing's greatest financial successes, consistently making massive paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As both boxers participated in the customary face-off, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually happening.
